How to Upload Products on Risor?


With Risor, you can easily add products to your store.


You can add products to Risor in 3 ways:


  1.  One product at a time - learn how

  2.  Bulk product upload using images (from photo gallery or catalog PDF file)- learn how

  3. Bulk product upload using excel: This can only be done through the Risor web portal. How to log in to the web portal? How to add products using excel?


If you deal in different categories of products, you can also manage categories. Learn how here.



Step 1: Open the Risor AppHomepage. In the bottom bar, click on Products.



Step 2:  Then click on the + button to add a new product.



Step 3:  There, you will have two options to choose from. 


  1. Add product (One at a time) 

  2. Add product using images (Bulk products in one go)



To add one product at a time, click on the first option. i.e. Add Product.


Step 4:   Then add the image/s of the product by clicking on the Add image icon. By default the first uploaded picture will be the Cover photo (main photo) of the product.



Step 5:  Add the name of the product for which you uploaded the image. For Instance, a Cotton suit.



Step 6: Add the Category/Subcategory of your product, if any. In case you have not created any category/subcategory, then by default, the category would be None.



Step 7:  Then, add the Selling price and MRP of your featured products.


Step 8: Add the MOQ (Add MOQ only if you want to sell products in bulk) and LOT Size (Enter LOT size if you sell your products in fixed LOT size) of your featured product.



Step 9: Enter your item description - Detail information about the features and benefits of the products for your customers.  



Step 10:  Click + Add variants/sets to add your product's variants/sets. -learn how



Step 11:   Finally, click on the Save option and your product will be shared with your customers when you Publish the catalog.




Step 1: Open the Risor AppHomepage. In the bottom bar, click on Products.



Step 2:  Then click on the + button to add a new product.



Step 3:  There, you will have two options to choose from. 


  1. Add product (one at a time)

  2. Add product using images (Bulk products in one go)



To add bulk products in one go, click on the second option. i.e Add Product with Images.


Step 4:   Then, upload photos of the products using any one of the three options.


  1. Camera

  2. Gallery

  3. Import PDF



Step 5:   After uploading the images of the products from the gallery or importing the pdf (You will only select the pdf, Risor will extract the pictures automatically), your images will be imported in the Risor app gallery.



You can also group/merge the pictures of the same products by using the merge icon at the bottom. E.g. Here the first 3 pictures are of the first product and the next 4 are of the second product.



Once you have merged the images for a product, select the product and click Proceed to Add ‘x's products.


Step 6:  Add your Product name. For Instance, Cotton Top.



Step 7: Then, add the Selling price and MRP to both of your featured products.


Step 8: Add the MOQ (Add MOQ only if you want to sell products in bulk) and LOT Size (Enter LOT size if you sell your products in fixed LOT size) of your featured product.



Step 9: Enter your product description - Detail information about the features and benefits of the products for your customers.  


Step 10: Click + Add variants/sets to add your product's variants/sets. -learn how



Step 11:   Finally, click on the Save option and your first product will be saved and the app will ask for details of the second product added. Once details of all products are saved, you can publish the new products to your customer network by clicking Publish.



3.  How to log in to the web portal?


Step 1: Open the Risor app on your phone. Click on More and click Risor Web.



Step 2:  Open web.risor.com on your laptop or PC. Then point your phone to this screen to capture the QR code.



And, you can use Risor on your computer.


You can add bulk products to your catalog in 3 ways using Excel.

(1) How to add bulk products without variants using excel?


Step1: Click on the Imports option. From the drop-down list of Select Import Job Type. Choose Catalog Import Without Variants option.




Step 2: Tap on Create New And Update Existing as your Import Option.




Step 3:  Click on the Download Template in the right-bottom corner.




  Have a look at the sample template:



Step 4:  Enter the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)- a unique id for the product. It allows the merchants to track the movement of the inventories. For Instance, TGS 101, and TGS118, etc. 



Step 5: Provide a relevant title to the product. For Instance, Printed Rayon Kurta with lycra leggings.




Step 6: Add crisp and relevant description (Optional) of the product.



Step 7:  Enter the Category Code (Optional)-  a unique user-defined code of the product. For instance, kurtas and suits or it could be a number sequence like 1234 or a combination of both like Kurtas124.



Step 8: Mention the MRP(Optional) and price of the product.



Step 9: Enter TRUE if the product is in stock, or else mention FALSE.



Step 10: Add the URLs of the images of your featured products.



Step 11: Add the MOQ (Add MOQ only if you want to sell products in bulk) and LOT Size (Enter LOT size if you sell your products in fixed LOT size) of your featured products.




Step 12: Save the file in .csv format. Then you will be transferred to the home screen again. Here, click on the Upload file button and Submit it.




(2) How to Add Bulk Products with Variants Using Excel?


Step1: Click on the Imports option. From the drop-down list of Select Import Job Type. Choose Catalog Import With Variants option.




Step 2: Tap on Create New And Update Existing as your Import Option.

  



Step 3:  Click on the Download Template in the right-bottom corner.



 Have a look at the sample template:



Step 4: Enter the Product Group Id- a unique id for the group of all the variants. For Instance, TGS118, or you can have it 



Step 5:  Add the Product Id - a unique id for the variants. It is the series of numeric (e.g. 1235,2345, etc) or alphanumeric (e.g. TGS 107-22, TGS-103-Red, etc). They are used to identify a specific product.



Step 6: Enter the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)- a unique id for the variant. It allows the merchants to track the movement of the inventories. For Instance, TGS 201-34-Red, and TGS216-34-Pink, etc. 



Step 7: Provide a relevant title to the variant. For Instance, Girls Ethnic Wear.



Step 8: Add a crisp and relevant description (Optional) of the variant.




Step 9:  Enter the Category Code (Optional)-  a unique user-defined code of the variant. For instance, kurtas and suits or it could be a number sequence like 1234, an alphabetical sequence like Kurtas and suits, or a combination of both like Kurtas124.



Step 10: Mention the MRP(Optional) and price (Optional)  of the variant.



Step 11: Choose the currency code (Optional). Otherwise, the default currency code will be INR.



Step 12:  Enter TRUE if the variant is in stock, or else mention FALSE.




Step 13: Add Relevant Tags- trending hashtags, for the variant. For instance #girlskurtis, #girlscroptop, etc.



Step 14: Add relevant Variant Keys(If you want to give your buyer an option to select from different variations then create variants. e.g. size, color, etc) and Variant values (e.g. multicolor, red, green, etc)  of the product.



Step 15: Add relevant Set Keys (Optional) (combinations of variants like Size sets) and Variant Set Value( 34/2, 36/2, and 38/2). It means one set has 6 variants i.e. of 2 of 34 sizes, 2 of 36 sizes, and 2 of 38 sizes.

       


Step 16: Add the URLs of the images of your featured variants.


Step 17: Add the MOQ (Add MOQ only if you want to sell variants in bulk) and LOT Size (Enter LOT size if you sell your variants in fixed LOT size) of your featured variants.




Step 18: Save the file in .csv format. Then you will be transferred to the home screen again. Here, click on the Upload file button and Submit it.



(3) How to Add Bulk Products Importing from Shopify?


Step1: Click on the Imports option. From the drop-down list of Select Import Job Type. Choose the Catalog Import Shopify option.



Step 2: Tap on Create New And Update Existing as your Import Option.



Step 3: Save the file in .csv format. Here, click on the Upload file button and Submit it. Finally, your catalog is imported.
